Squigglefly Button Blowout

Time for a Squigglefly challenge!  Buttons are wonderful embellishments for our cards.  They are easily found, inexpensive, and can be made from all types of materials too.  So get out your buttons, or make your own with chipboard or polymer clay, shrink plastic or whatever else you can dream up! Don’t forget to link up your creations over at Squigglefly’s BLOG for a chance to win a Squigglefly image!

I’ve used this adorable image from Cheryl Alger called “Birthday Cake Desire”.   The image is colored with copics in shades of brown, pink and peach.  The button is a very old large brown button from my stash. The dp has a great metallic sheen to the stripes that I wish photographed better; S.E.I Claire patterned paper.

Come join in the Squigglefly challenge.  I’d love to see how you incorporate buttons on your creations too!

A few fabulous challenges I am entering my card in:

Card Cupids Blog: buttons or ribbon(brown button)

Birthday Sundaes: birthday cards with sentiment(FRENCH happy birthday!)

Come and Get It Challenges: Fall birthday (Fall colors)

Corrosive Challenge Blog: Earth tones (browns)

Here Come the Boys: critters (bear/teddy)

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
